Parent and Spectator Code of Conduct

As a parent or spectator of a player in a Stillwater Soccer program, I understand that I play an important role in my child’s experience. I agree to:

1. 1. Model and encourage good sportsmanship at all times.
   2. Prioritize my child’s physical and emotional well-being over any desire to win.
   3. Support my child with positive encouragement and a healthy attitude toward competition.
   4. Help my child understand that effort and growth matter more than wins or losses.
   5. Encourage humility in victory and grace in defeat through my own actions.
   6. Refrain from coaching or giving instructions from the sidelines during games or practices.
   7. Respect the decisions and authority of referees, coaches, and club officials.
   8. Never enter the field unless invited by a referee or staff to assist with an emergency.
   9. Avoid using abusive language or negative gestures toward any player, coach, official, or spectator.
   10. Support and uphold the values and policies of Stillwater Soccer Club and the APEX program.
   11. Understand that failure to follow this code may result in removal from club activities or events.
