APEX FC Academy (U10 and Under)
The APEX FC Academy was officially started in August 2013 by Edwin Sutherland, Justin Elkington and Seth Condley. This program looks at bridging the gap between recreational players and competitive players (U11 and above) by providing higher level training and competition for players. The current APEX FC 02 Boys team was our first academy team, followed by the APEX 04 Boys. And in 2015-2016 the academy has produced two APEX 05 Boys teams (APEX 05 Boys Orange and Black). This was followed by two APEX 06 Boys (06 Boys and 06 Orange) in 2016-2017 season. In 2017-2018 Stillwater APEX FC added three 07 teams (07 Boys, 07 Orange Boys and an 07 Girls team).
Each season (Fall & Spring) we are looking at forming boys and girls academy teams at the U10, U9, U8 age groups. One difference between U10, U8, U6 SSC Recreational teams and the U10 and under APEX FC Academy teams is there will be traveling to tournaments, friendlies and a possible academy league schedule. Academy games will usually be 8v8 format. There will be some additional fees for those players who decide to accept the academy invite.
