What’s Up With Our New Fields?

Field Development Update at 12th Street

Progress is underway at our new 12th Street fields! In the coming months, we anticipate the completion of essential amenities, including restrooms, a concession stand, and storage units—all of which will receive a fresh coat of paint and a solid concrete foundation.

In the near term, efforts are focused on enhancing the field’s condition: eliminating muddy areas, laying fresh sod, and tidying up the field edges for a cleaner appearance.

Additionally, fencing to enclose the east and northeast perimeters is expected within the next 30 days, further defining our playing space.

Full leveling and smoothing of the fields are scheduled for late May to early June, aligning with optimal grass growth. This will include topdressing to ensure a smooth playing surface and effective water drainage.
