Referee

To register as a new referee for 2014 by taking an 09 class, for an 09 taking an 08 class, and for referees registered for 2013, OSA has created an online process to speed up the registration process and allow online training. Classes are held at the P&R building located at 315 E. 9th (old armory bldg). A 50 question test will be administered at the end of the last session. A score of 37 (missing a maximum of 13 questions) is required for satisfactory completion of the class. Upon completion, referees with an 09 certification will be certified to work U14 and under recreational games. Annual re-certification is required and a 3-hour refresher course will be held for those wishing to retain certification. There is no cost for the re-certification class, but annual registration with USSF and OSA is $50.
If you have any questions please contact Jared Johnson at jared.johnson@me.com.
The following provides information to individuals who are wanting to begin refereeing, who are an existing referee and want to upgrade, and individuals who want to recertify as a referee.
New Referees Must Attend An 09 Course
1. Select the 09 course from the list Here. Note that Stillwater will host a course on FEBRUARY 1, 2014 at the Chamber of Commerce (409 S. Main). Both of these are required to be completed PRIOR to attending the class.  SSC will NOT take cash at the site and time will not be given for registration during the class. If you do not have internet access you may visit a library or use your smart phone.
2. If you are 18 or older, a third form, a background check will be required. When following the registration for the class process, the form will appear and you will be given the opportunity to complete it while online.
3. Prior to attending the class all referee candidates must visit the USSF online 09 course and view the entire course. For the 09 course link, click here. The 09 class is now two sessions of 3 hours each.
