Financial Assistance

At Stillwater Soccer Club, we believe every player should have the opportunity to play—regardless of financial circumstances. That’s why we offer a limited number of financial aid scholarships to players each season, based on demonstrated need.

We understand that youth sports can be a significant investment for families. Our goal is to help make soccer accessible to all committed players in our community.

How to Apply

Stillwater Soccer Club uses a centralized Financial Aid Application process. All applicants must complete the online Financial Aid form and provide the required documentation to be considered.

Application Deadline

To be considered for financial aid, applications must be submitted at least 4 weeks prior to the start of your season. Late applications may be reviewed only if additional funds are available.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for financial aid, players and families must meet the following requirements:

Be registered with Stillwater Soccer Club for the current season.
Demonstrate financial need, typically supported by tax documentation or proof of assistance (e.g., Free/Reduced Lunch, Medicaid, SNAP).
Maintain good standing with the club in terms of attendance, conduct, and parent/player behavior.
Participate in volunteer hours, as requested by the club (field setup, events, field maintenance, etc.).

Required Documents

Please have the following documents ready before starting your application:

Most recent IRS 1040 tax return (first 2 pages)
OR proof of state/federal assistance
Explanation of financial hardship (if applicable)
Any additional information you believe would support your request

Award Notification

You will be notified by email if your financial aid application is approved. Scholarships will be applied as a credit toward your club fees. Families are still responsible for any remaining balances.

Please note: submitting an application does not guarantee financial aid. Scholarships are awarded based on both need and the availability of funds.
