Recreational Soccer (Fall 2025)

Join us at the SSC Recreational Soccer Program, a cornerstone of the Stillwater Soccer Club. Our mission is to ignite a passion for soccer among our young players. The program is designed with a focus on engaging participation, fostering player development, building friendships, and ensuring a fun-filled soccer experience. Our approach is centered around providing an inclusive environment where every player, regardless of their skill level, gets a chance to shine.

At SSC, we believe in the importance of personal attention and learning. Thus, we keep our team sizes small, ensuring that each child gets ample playing time and opportunities to improve their skills. Our objective is not just to teach soccer but to instill a lifelong love for the game and the values it teaches, which resonate beyond the soccer field.

U12 (BORN IN 2014 or 2015)

U12 recreation is new to Stillwater Soccer Club for the 2025/2026 season. All practices will be held in Stillwater. How we structure games will depend on total sign-ups:

In-House League: If we have enough players to form multiple teams, we’ll host an all-Stillwater league with weekend games at our local fields.
Travel Rec: If we only have enough for a single roster, games will be scheduled against neighboring clubs (e.g., Edmond or Sand Springs) and treated like a U12 Travel Rec league. See our Travel Rec page for additional information.
Hybrid Model: If we fall somewhere in between, we’ll mix local matches with occasional away games.

We’ll confirm which format we’ll use—and answer all your questions—before any commitments are due.

U10 (BORN IN 2016 or 2017)

U10 players will play 7v7 soccer (6v6 plus goalkeepers). There will be approximately 8 practices and 8 games. The ball is Size 4. Practices and games are held at either Babcock Park or the Stillwater Medical Foundation fields on 12th street (1201 S Adams St, Stillwater, OK 74074).

If you volunteer to coach and attend our One Hour Coaching Clinic your child’s registration will be FREE!!! In addition, we require a background check and safe sport course completion in order to coach. Once these are completed, one of your child’s registrations’ fees will be refunded.

U8 (BORN IN 2018 or 2019)

U8 players will play 4v4. Each team will be placed in groups of 6-8. There will be approximately 8 practices and 7 games. The ball is Size 3. All practices and games are held at the Stillwater Medical Foundation fields on 12th street (1201 S Adams St, Stillwater, OK 74074)

U6 (Born in 2020 or 2021)

U6 players will play 3v3 and boys and girls are mixed together on teams. Each team will be placed in groups of 6-8. There will be approximately 6 practices and 7 games. The ball is Size 3. All practices and games are held at the Stillwater Medical Foundation fields on 12th street (1201 S. Adams St, Stillwater, OK 74074).

Financials

Your registration fee contributes to essential aspects of the overall SSC program. This includes individual player insurance, maintenance of our facilities (goalposts, field lines, lawn care, nets, corner flags), and referees for designated age groups. Additionally, these fees help support the passionate and dedicated staff behind the SSC Recreational Program.

U12 is a one-time $95 / player fee.*
U10 is a one-time $95 / player fee.
U8 is a one-time $90 / player fee
U6 is a one-time $85 / player fee

There is a $15 cancellation fee applicable for withdrawals before the registration deadline. This fee is to offset online transaction charges incurred per player registration.

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds once the season has commenced. Refund requests, to be initiated by a parent or guardian, should be directed to our office at StillwaterSoccerClub@gmail.com before the stipulated deadline.
